On July 14 of the current year, on the initiative of the Union "21st Century", a regular meeting of the inter-religious working group was held at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung's South Caucasus Office, which was also attended by representatives of the Patriarchate of Georgia.

At the meeting, the project of amending Resolution #117 of the Government of Georgia by the mentioned organization was discussed and supported. The aforementioned resolution provides compensation for all religious associations which sustained losses during the Soviet period. 

Based on the principle of restoration of historical justice, the implementation of the above mentioned has always been supported by the Patriarchate of Georgia.

This position has been repeatedly voiced by us and, we hope, it will soon become a reality.
